It's been a pleasure providing massage to the people of the Corvallis area since 2004. It is with profound consideration and intimate, personal understanding of the chronic pain cycle (as a chronic migraineur) that I approach every client’s wellness goals holistically. Consciously, we will work together to ascertain the causes and contributors to your discomfort. My treatment is always focused on comfort, function, and eliciting your body’s own healing response in cooperation with your lifestyle.
Every massage is tailored to the individual’s needs, in this moment, drawing from my experiences and education in Swedish, Prenatal, Remedial/Medical, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone, and Oncology-Sensitive Massage Therapies
Certifiably Serene Wyrding
Serene:
1: marked by or suggestive of utter calm and unruffled repose or quietude
2. a: clear and free of storms or unpleasant change
b: shining bright and steady
Wyrd:
An anglo-saxon concept literally meaning "that which comes." Fate or destiny, but in a much more active sense than what we generally think. Wyrding is consciously traversing your path in the web of life, aware of your place and connection to the whole.
The Path Here
In the beginning (2004), my practice was Dreaming Tree Massage. Then I was a part of The Retreat Day Spa & Salon 2005-2012, with a little sprinkle of contracting with The Heartspring Wellness Center in 2007-2008. In 2012-2018 I was part of Social Communication Clinic, which morphed into The Growing Wellness Center 2018-2020. Since the 2020 Reorganization (thank you, Covid), I have been back in Corvallis’s Downtown practicing under Becky Maddox, LMT until taking up the Certifiably Serene mantle in August 2023.
